Mix and match and make them your own.

We’re so excited to share with you to our newest weaving workshop, which introduces new ways of working with a rigid heddle loom – Clasped Warp & Weft on Rigid Heddle, taught by Amanda Wood!

The rigid heddle is a wonderful tool for weaving small projects like scarves and cowls, and in this new course, Amanda teaches two-colour interlocking projects to create two very different scarf projects. Interlocking, clasping two yarns of different colours around each other and using them as one, allows us to shift colours, texture and pattern in both the warp and weft in new ways. It’s like freestyle drawing with our yarn! Interlocking in the warp allows a fluid, organic colour shift, and interlocking in the weft can create a more structured, graphic contrast and transition between two colours.
