The School of SweetGeorgia brings you projects, patterns, video-based courses, and a private community for multicraftual makers. Join us as we learn to weave, spin, knit, crochet, dye, and so much more.
The School of SweetGeorgia is our online membership-based fibre arts school where we aim to inspire, educate, and engage. Together with our courses and community, learn to weave, spin, knit, crochet, and dye your own yarn. We love sharing our passion for the yarn and textile arts while creating new dyers, weavers, spinners, and knitters.
For a maker who is passionate about everything from learning to spin yarn, to learning to weave with handspun yarn, to learning to knit and crochet with hand-dyed yarn, we are faced with the challenge of managing our time, space, resources, and focus. It can feel like there is so much to learn, it’s hard to know where to start. And learning new techniques and skills can seem intimidating or overwhelming.

My name is Felicia Lo and I’ve been driven by an insatiable desire to “make & do” for my entire life. I learned to knit at a young age and then became obsessed with dyeing, spinning, and weaving. These multiple passions in the fibre arts have led me to become a creative business owner and educator.
In 2005, I founded SweetGeorgia Yarns, an artisan hand-dyed yarn company, and in 2017, I wrote my first book, Dyeing to Spin & Knit. Currently, I’m exploring weaving on multi-shaft floor looms with hand-dyed yarn at Lo Meets Loom.
Building a textile school for specifically for fibre artists has been my dream for a long, long time and my mission is to share the joy of colour and craft with makers everywhere.
If you are interested in learning about knitting, spinning, weaving, dyeing, and colour, I would love for you to join me in creating this vibrant learning community.
