Summer is here, July has begun and our minds are filled with inspiration from the new season. We always look forward to this shift – this excitement that carries us towards new projects for the months ahead, or sometimes a boost of renewed energy to complete one that’s been lingering “in-progress”. There have been a number of mentions recently from makers about a solstice check-in. A pause that takes place at the beginning of both summer and winter to think about projects or goals that may slowly be shifting towards a slightly new path than what was earlier being traveled. Do you have a similar routine or process? Have you thought about any new goals or projects you’d like to complete before the days of winter begin? We’d love to hear what has been keeping you motivated!
Now, before we continue with sharing new and coming soon content to the School, we’re super excited to first share some exciting news….

New Tutorial // Crochet Bind-Off
In our latest tiny tutorial, Tabetha teaches you how to cast off your shawl in a unique and beautiful way with crochet edging! This technique is used in Tabetha’s knit shawl pattern shown here, Cumberland.
The Cumberland sample from the video was knit in our Party of Five set in Cobblestone. Cobblestone is no longer available, however we have many colourful Party of Five sets to choose from on the SweetGeorgia site!
