Member Update // Tapestry Weaving Coming Soon + Our Latest Updates!

Tapestry Weaving by Janna Maria Vallee

With the first day of fall just around the corner, and short days and long nights soon following, it can be enjoyable to go through a shift of projects inspired by the change of seasons. A shift from focusing on projects of portability to instead projects that can be savoured and enjoyed inside the home. Whether it’s simply because of the want to cosy up inside as the rain falls outside (or the need… #wetcoast), it brings excitement to the learning of a new skill or starting of a new project. What are you planning for the autumn season?

Coming Soon // Tapestry Weaving

After so much fun filming this workshop on the beautiful Sunshine Coast back in June, we can’t wait to soon share with you Tapestry Weaving with Janna Maria Vallee!

Housekeeping // Website Updates + New Product Listing

We’re continuously working on updating our website to ensure information and resources are easily accessible, and we hope the latest changes do just that. Patterns featured in our School of SweetGeorgia workshops can now easily be found on the SOS website – check out the SOS library for our latest updates. As well, basic course details can now be seen without the need to first login to the site, to help quickly view course information and to even share with friends not yet signed up to the SOS site!

School of SweetGeorgia Acid Dye Kit

Listed on the SweetGeorgia Yarns website, we’ve also recently launched an SOS Acid Dye Kit. Each kit comes with 7 colours, 1 oz of each, in a range of warm and cool primary colours, plus black, to produce a wide range of hues when mixed together. Click here to purchase the kit!
