Member Update // New Top Down Sock Workshop!
It’s official… Socktober is here! And we’re ready for a month long celebration of sock knitting! We hope to cover all the bases this month in celebration of Socktober… new Breezy sock pattern, yarn specials (stay tuned), plus a new beginner sock knitting course to help make sure you have everything needed to enjoy the cosy warmth and comfort of hand-knit socks all winter long!
Now Available // Custom Top Down Socks for Beginners
If you’ve seen how fun, portable and satisfying socks are for other knitters and want to make them yourself, then this is the course for you! Socks may look complicated, but by the end of this workshop you’ll be able to knit a pair of socks at any gauge and with any yarn.
In this workshop, Tabetha Hedrick guides you how to:
- measure your feet
- knit a gauge swatch
- calculate the numbers to get a perfect fitting sock
- cast on and join in the round
- work a heel flap
- work a heel turn
- shape a toe and so much more!
