Let’s talk cable knitting. The intricately beautiful twist and turns of crossed stitches that can lend either a small touch of excitement to a pattern, or be completely awe-inspiring in its allover cabled knitting design glory. Whatever the amount and style, if you’ve always wanted to learn how to knit cables but have hesitated to do so, then we have a new course for you!

Now Available // Cables 101

In this course, instructor Tabetha Hedrick teaches you all the steps of cable knitting to help you confidently tackle your next cable knitting project. From what a cable is, the tools you’ll need, and most importantly – how to fix cable mistakes. Also included in the course is a handout containing two cable sample patterns for you to work though with Tabetha, along with cable pattern suggestions.

Leah Learns Design // New Update

As we’re on the topic of cable knitting, be sure to check out the latest video update at Leah Learns Design! In this course, our video editor Leah Churchley is being led through the process of dreaming up and knitting a cable cardigan design from scratch, with the help of Tabetha Hedrick guiding her through the steps.
