Brioche has an undeserved reputation in the knitting community for being very difficult and fiddly, especially if you make a mistake. In the Learn to Knit & Fix Brioche course, taught by Matt Akers, learn how to knit brioche. How to confidently fix common mistakes that occur in all of our brioche knitting, so that when you come across one of them in the wild, you’ll have the confidence in your own skills to fix them without a second thought.

This course covers both english and continental knitting style.

Throughout the videos, you’ll learn:

  • anatomy of the brioche stitch
  • two colour Italian cast on with tubular set up
  • how to begin and work brioche stitches English style
  • how to brioche increase & decrease English style
  • how to begin brioche and work brioche stitches continental style

  • how to tink back, place lifelines and picking up stitches
  • fixing misplaced yarn overs and dropped increases
  • fixing right and left leaning decreases
  • how to Italian bind off and weave in ends
