How to connect with the Community
MAKE-ALONGS
Calling all crafters and makers! Whether you’re a seasoned artisan or just starting out on your crafting adventure, we invite you to join us for our upcoming make-alongs.
Our make-alongs provide a safe and encouraging space for you to experiment, ask questions, and learn from both experts and fellow participants. Together, we’ll build new skills and practices that will help you create something beautiful and fun.
See our schedule of upcoming make-alongs and join in from anywhere, at any time. SweetGeorgia make-alongs connect on our SweetGeorgia Discord group and School of SweetGeorgia make-alongs connect in the SOS Forums and Groups. SOS members are also welcome to connect to the Discord group!

Find your people
Deep dive into your own favourite crafts here with our community-led interest groups! Meet other crafty friends who are interested in exploring and conducting a self-directed study of a particular craft or technique. We have groups for everything from weaving on rigid heddle looms to working from fleece to natural dyeing. Visit the Groups area of the Community to find your people.
Lead a group
Every group needs a leader — someone who has a deep passionate for their craft and is willing to step forward to gather and guide like-minded folks.
We encourage you to volunteer as a Group Leader for a specific interest group if you’re interested. As a Group Leader, your role won’t involve teaching, but rather facilitating introductions and coordinating regular gatherings for the group to connect and meet. Let us know if you’d be interested!
ZOOM SESSIONS
